Pål Herlof Herlofsen

Pål Herlof Herlofsen is a Norwegian medical doctor and psychiatrist who was convicted of writing false medical certificates — a conviction that was upheld in 2009 by the Supreme Court of Norway.[1] He was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in prison.[2]

Herlofsen led Utenriksdepartementet's team of investigators that came to Thailand relating to the tsunami in 2004.[3]

Military career

He was in charge of "psychological follow-up" of the commandos of special forces FSK — in charge together with Jon Reichelt at Kontor for Psykiatri at Forsvarets overkommando.[4]
